Tantric Union

In a Tantra ritual the union can be the final point. This is a ritual form of sexual intercourse, which is not comparable to classical sex. It is not about monotonous in-out movements. It is about being intimate with each other, sharing the most intimate feelings, without compulsion or intention. As is generally the case with Tantra, the goal is not the climax but to activate the sexual energy.

So it is not necessary for the man to have a hard erection, which can take some pressure off, especially for older people. A union with only a light erection is called a "gentle union".

The tantric union is a sexual act for tantrics, but in a sacred form, because it repeats the act of creation. It can be accompanied by various breathing techniques and the ritual can last for a long time.

Only few Tantra practitioners offer the union. It is also called "Red Tantra".
